Jah Cure (nom d'origine : Siccature Alcock),est né le 11 octobre 1978 à Hanover en Jamaïqueil est appelé ainsi par Capleton parce qu'il fait partie des "Bobo dreads". Il rencontre Sizzla et ils enregistrent ensemble "Divide and Rule" (Kings in the Jungle), un duo.
Beres Hammond, chanteur reggae, croyant en lui, lui proposa de produire un premier album...

Deux mois avant la sortie de l'album,Jah Cure est condamné à 15 ans de prison pour viol sous la menace d'une arme.Il sort durant son emprisonnement les magnifiques albums « Free Jah Cure » , « Ghetto Life » et « Freedom Blues »

Jah Cure a été libéré sur parole le 28 juillet 2007, tandis qu'un nouvel album, "True Reflections", paraît le 31 juillet 2007...17 septembre 2007!!
